For 6 Serving(s)

Ingredients

1 tube Pillsbury crescent rolls
6 hot dogs, cut into thirds
2 cups chili, store bought or homemade
4 oz cream cheese, softened (at room temperature)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Chili Cheese Dog Dip Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a cast iron skillet, pie dish or round baking dish.
  2. Unroll Crescent roll dough and cut each crescent into 2 slices. Roll a slice around each piece of hot dog. Place each wrapped hot dog side by side in the prepared round baking dish, forming a wreath. Bake for 10 minutes or until the tops of the crescent dough are just starting to brown.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, chili and 1 cup cheddar until evenly combined. Pour mixture into center of the wreath. Sprinkle the top of the dip with the remaining 1/4 cup cheese.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the cheese has melted and the crescents are fully cooked. Top the dip with diced green onions and let cool for 5-7 minutes before serving.
  5. Enjoy!
